Alex Augustyniak, Canada Territory Account Manager
While he’s worked with a wide range of plants throughout his career, Alex Augustyniak has always had a soft spot for fruits, veggies, and herbs. Why? He enjoys growing food to feed people. He even works on a market farm, where he grows fresh produce at a reasonable price.
After spending years in the North American seed industry, garden centre business and working with growers across Canada, Alex has become a trusted voice in horticulture. He’s served on the All-America Selections (AAS) Board and has been a trial judge for more than a decade. Between the kind people he works with at MasterTag and watching seeds/seedlings turn into thriving plants, he can’t see himself working in any other industry.
If Alex could put one message on a plant tag, it would be:
“This is a sustainable tag, it will decompose and become part of the soil without any forever chemicals.”
